Car- and railway construction
In the production of vehicles and rail cars, small to medium welding constructions of up to 6 meters in length and 2 meters in width are produced. The quality of the welding seam is an important factor, because the strength of the material and joints must be guaranteed.
Welding miles of sheet metal
With TRUMPF bevellers, you can weld sheet metal and steel girders by the mile. In one step, you can produce even oxide-free, and metallically smooth K, V, X or Y edges.
The process is not only fast, it is also very precise. Bevellers are also often used in repair shops. There, welding must often be carried out manually in the under-chassis or on load-bearing parts.
Deburring of sharp edges
Deburrers are suitable for the smoothing of sharp edges and to produce clean radii in a single step. The sheet thickness range starts at 0.7 mm and has no upper limit. With the TruTool TKA, you can produce both straight or radial edges, and even powder-coated materials are undamaged.
Precise trimming of edges
If you need to trim edges on chassis or deep-drawn sheet metal parts without burring, then we recommend our TruTool S 214. With these trimming shears, you can cut workpiece edges of up to 75 mm in thickness, guiding the machine across narrow edges and radii. Strips added for support or transport can easily be cut off.
