"On average, the strips are clogged up about every two weeks to the point that we need to clean them," explains Alexander Jahn, machine operator at PS Laser. "We used to have to use a hammer and chisel sometimes. About every four to six weeks, we had to replace the slats. That was a very difficult and time-consuming job.With the TruTool TSC 2 slat cleaner, it's not a problem any more."
With the slat cleaner, cleaning can be done without stopping production. The slats don't need to be removed, and the process takes about 30 minutes, depending on pallet size Replacement of the strips is now only necessary every two to three months on average.
